Crystalline tungsten powder is a type of tungsten material, usually used in applications in high temperature and high pressure environments.
1. Features:
- High melting point: The melting point of tungsten is as high as 3422°C, the highest melting point of all metals, which makes crystalline tungsten powder have good stability under high temperature conditions.
- High density: The density of tungsten is close to 19.25 g/cm³, and the density of crystalline tungsten powder is also very high, so it can provide good strength and wear resistance in some applications.
- Excellent electrical and thermal conductivity: Tungsten has good electrical and thermal conductivity, which makes crystalline tungsten powder can effectively conduct heat in high temperature environments.

3. Preparation method:
- Reduction method: Tungsten powder is generated by the reduction reaction of tungsten oxides (such as tungstates or tungsten oxides) with hydrogen or carbon. This is a common method for preparing tungsten powder.
- Hydrogen reduction method: Tungstate or tungsten oxide is reduced in a hydrogen atmosphere to obtain high-purity tungsten powder. This method can effectively avoid the influence of oxygen.
- Electrolysis method: Tungsten powder is obtained by electrolysis of tungsten compounds in electrolyte. This method can control the particle size distribution of powder.
