Tungsten-tantalum zirconium-hafnium alloy powder

I. Characteristics

1. Ultra-high melting point and thermal stability: The melting point of tungsten-tantalum-zirconium-hafnium alloy powder is as high as over 3200℃, far exceeding that of traditional high-temperature alloys (such as nickel-based alloys with a melting point of approximately 1300-1400 ℃).

2. High strength and excellent toughness: At room temperature, the tensile strength of the material formed from this alloy powder can reach 1800-2200 mpa, and its hardness (HV) exceeds 500, significantly higher than that of pure tungsten and common refractory alloys.

3. Excellent corrosion resistance: In terms of chemical corrosion, tungsten-tantalum-zirconium-hafnium alloys exhibit extremely strong resistance to highly corrosive media such as aqua regia and hydrofluoric acid.

4. Excellent radiation resistance: Under the strong neutron irradiation environment of nuclear reactors, tungsten-tantalum-zirconium-hafnium alloys exhibit excellent stability.

Ii. Application Fields

1. Aerospace field: It is used to manufacture key components such as the combustion chamber and nozzle throat liner of rocket engines, and can also serve as a thermal protection material for the leading edge and wingtip of aircraft.

2. Nuclear industry field: Fuel cladding, control rods and core structural components, corrosion-resistant containers and shielding materials for fourth-generation nuclear reactors.

3. In the field of electronic information: It is used as a high-temperature diffusion source and sputtering target in semiconductor chip manufacturing, and as a heat dissipation substrate and packaging shell for manufacturing high-performance electronic devices.
