Spherical Mo-20Re alloy powder is an alloy powder composed of molybdenum (Mo) and rhenium (Re) elements, with unique properties and a wide range of applications.
1. Characteristics
- High temperature performance: Mo-20Re alloy powder has excellent high temperature strength and oxidation resistance, and is particularly suitable for use in high temperature environments. Molybdenum itself has a high melting point (about 2623°C), while rhenium (Re) has an even higher melting point (about 3186°C), so the alloy has superior high temperature resistance.
- Corrosion resistance: Rhenium can significantly improve the corrosion resistance of the alloy, especially its resistance to acidic environments and oxidizing atmospheres, and is often used in highly corrosive environments.
- Electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity: Alloys of molybdenum and rhenium usually have good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, so they are also used in electronic components and heat exchangers.
